You and Timothy are hunting calico scallops when you hear the sound of a rifle shot. Timothy quickly explains that it is not really a rifle, but the sound of waves crashing against the point. He darkly explains that means a tempis' or storm is brewing, a hurricane!
You quickly start preparation for the storm. You are nervous and scared. How can two people and a cat survive the ferocity of a raging hurricane unprotected?

A Change Within
You and Timothy have been on the island for several days. Timothy has been doing all the work without complaint, but now he has asked you to weave palm fiber mats for your hut. You resent this because you are blind and how can Timothy expect you to do anything... In anger, you say words you later regret, but it is the start of something new in your relationship.

Endless Night
During your second day together, you learn more about Timothy, the man who rescued you. Your opinion of Timothy is skewed by the racial biases you have learned from your mother. You and Timothy continue to wait for rescue, but the ocean is silent. The pain from your head injury becomes unbearably worse, until at last relief finally comes, but at a cost...
